Use New MicroSD Card
Guide Information
Move a partition based emuMMC and all of the data from one microSD card to another.

What You Need
- Unpatched/Modchipped Switch
- MicroSD card (64GB+)
- NxNandManager
- Partition Based emuMMC
Backing Up Your MicroSD Card
- Download the software from the link below.
- Put the microSD card containing the partition based emuMMC that you want to migrate, into your PC.
- Create a new folder named SD Backup on your PC.
- Copy the contents from the microSD card to the SD Backup folder.
- Extract the NxNandManager_vx.x_x64.zip to your desktop and run NxNandManager_vx.x.exe.
- Click File > Open drive, the Drives window will open.
- Double click on your microSD card, another window will open showing your emuMMC partition (normally 29.13GB).
- Click on the FULL Dump and select where you want to dump the partition based emuMMC to. (You will need 29.13GB of free space).
- When it finishes, close the progress window, then close NXNandManager and plug your new microSD card into your PC.
Restoring The Backup To New MicroSD Card
- Run NxNandManager_vx.x.exe and click on the File tab > Open file > FULL NAND.bin for the emuMMC that you just dumped.
- Click on the Tools tab and select Emunand Creation Tool (RAWNAND, FULL NAND).
- You will now see the emuMMC dump location selected in the Input NAND field at the top. Make sure that the SD Partition option is selected for the emuNAND type.
- Click on your microSD card in the Select target disk: field. The output and path will populate.
- Click the Create emuNAND button at the bottom and then click yes to confirm.
- When it’s finished, close the progress, and the emunand creation windows.
- Click FULL or PARTIAL RESTORE on the bottom left of the screen and select the FULL NAND.bin (emuMMC dump) then click yes on the following warning window.
- Once it is finished, close NxNandManager.

Move your files from your SD Backup folder, to your new microSD card root. Replace any files if asked.

Eject your new microSD card from the PC and put into your Switch.

Inject the latest Hekate payload to boot into Hekate.
- Select emuMMC > Migrate emuMMC > Emunand > Continue > OK > Close.

Connect your Switch to PC via UMS in Hekate (or eject the microSD card and put it in you PC).

Move the Nintendo folder located in emuMMC/RAW1/ to emuMMC/ER00/. (Ignore if you don’t have RAW1). Replace any files if asked.

Delete the RAW1 folder.

Boot Atmosphere CFW on emuMMC.
You should now have an exact copy of your emuMMC on the new microSD card, including all its installed games, mods, themes, saves etc. and also your games that were installed to the microSD card or System/NAND (FAT32 partition).
