Guide Information
Update system firmware offline using Daybreak.

- Update Atmosphere CFW first.
What You Need
- Daybreak App
- Latest Compatible Firmware (Google it)
Updating The Firmware
- Create a folder called Firmware on the root of your microSD card.
- Extract the Firmware xx.x.x.zip (.nca files) into the Firmware folder on the root of your microSD card.
- Boot into Atmosphere, open the Homebrew Menu via the Album and launch Daybreak.
- Select Install, navigate to the Firmware folder and press A.
- Wait a moment for the Update is valid! notice, then select Continue.
- Select Preserve Settings, then Install (FAT32 + exFAT) regardless of microSD card format.
- Select Continue on the Ready to begin update installation screen, then select Reboot once the firmware is installed. Your Switch will reboot to Hekate.
On the Hekate home screen, select Launch, then choose one of the options below:
- Atmosphere CFW on emuMMC:
CFW emuMMC fss0 (CFW on MicroSD Card). This will boot into Atmosphere on emuMMC.
- Atmosphere CFW on emuMMC:
- Atmosphere CFW on sysMMC:
CFW sysMMC fss0 (CFW on Device Memory). This will boot into Atmosphere on sysMMC.
- Atmosphere CFW on sysMMC:
- Open System Settings and scroll down to System. It will show:
Current system version: 18.1.0|AMS 1.7.1|E (or) S.
- Delete the Firmware folder on your microSD card.
