Homebrew applications, sysmodules and homebrew tools allow you to use things like themes and emulators on a hacked switch, as well as a myriad of other useful apps/tools to help manage your CFW set up.

Homebrew applications for the Switch are .nro files / .nro files in subfolders. After downloading and extracting them they should be in the switch folder on your microSD card, the only .nro file which shouldn’t be placed in the switch folder is the hbmenu.nro, which needs to be placed on the root of your microSD card. Some applications are for use on your PC. There are also other useful things available like payloads which allow you to boot into different interfaces to do things like dump your Switch keys.
