Check if a Possibly Patched Switch is unpatched or patched.

- You will need a jig or another method to enter RCM and a USB Cable
Possibly Patched
- Download TegraRcmGUI (Portable) from the link below.
- Open the TegraRcmGUI_vx.x_portable.zip and copy the TegraRcmGUI_vx.x_portable folder to your desktop. Open it and run TegraRcmGUI.exe.
- Go to Settings > Install Driver > follow the installer instructions to install the APX Device Driver. Click the Payload tab once it’s installed.
- Remove the right joy-con and insert the jig, and push it all the way down into the bottom of the joy-con rail.
- Press and hold the Volume + button for 2 seconds, continue to hold, tap the Power button then let go of both buttons. Your screen should remain black and your Switch will be in RCM.
- Remove the jig and reconnect the right joy-con.
- Connect your Switch to your PC using a USB cable, you will see RCM O.K in TegraRcmGUI.
- Double click on the hekate_ctcaer_5.0.0.bin to inject it.
TegraRcmGUI will display: ‘Smashed the stack with a 0x7000 (or) 0x0000 byte SETUP request!’
- If you see 0x7000 in TegraRcmGUI, you have a Unpatched Erista.
- If you see 0x0000 in TegraRcmGUI, you have a Patched Erista.
- If you see 0x7000 in TegraRcmGUI, you have a Unpatched Erista.
- Hold the Power button on your Switch for 15 seconds to force shutdown.
