Set Up Lakka
Guide Information
Built on top of the famous RetroArch emulator, Lakka is able to emulate a wide variety of systems and has some useful features such as automatic joypad recognition, rewinding, netplay, and shaders.

What You Need
- Erista Switch
- MicroSD Card (64GB+)
- Hekate Bootloader
- Lakka
Set Up Lakka
Click the Lakka link below, click on the Windows icon, then scroll down to the Nintendo Switch icon and click on it.
- On the next page choose the top Download Lakka for Nintendo Switch box.
- Wait for the download to finish then click Next step if you want to read more about how Lakka works.
- Extract the Lakka.7z to the root of your microSD card.
- Boot into Hekate.
- On the Hekate home screen. Select Nyx Options >Dump Joy-Con BT > OK > Close.
- On the Hekate home screen, select More Configs > Lakka.
- Once Lakka boots, exit out of Lakka by selecting Reboot from the Main Menu tab. Lakka has now created the correct file structure on your microSD card so now you can add your ROMS.
- You will need to add BIOS files for some systems to work.
Adding ROMS
Access your microSD card again and navigate to the lakka/storage/roms folder on your microSD card.
- Create subfolders inside the roms folder for the different systems you want to emulate.

- Place your ROMs into the correct subfolders.
- Boot into Hekate.
- On the Hekate home screen, select More Configs > Lakka.
